Ice Cream Cone Christmas Trees For Toddlers

I saw this adorable idea on pinterest posted by the Hungry Housewife using ice cream cones and turning them into Christmas trees. My son loved this project and they turned out so cute! These are much easier than gingerbread houses and the kids will have just as much fun.

What we used:

  • Ice cream cones
  • Broken candy canes
  • M&Ms
  • Marshmallows
  • Green frosting

The first step was to frost the ice cream cones. Older kids may have an easier time doing this, but Carter enjoyed trying it and getting messy. Once the trees were frosted then I let him decorate them however he wanted. He used the marshmallows as snow, which he thought was a lot of fun. I just used the supplies we had on hand, but there are a lot of different candies that would look super cute on these.

This was a great and easy project, very highly recommended!!

Enjoy the holidays with your little ones, they are only little for so long.
