Fast, Easy, and Delicious Kale Chips

A friend was recently talking about kale chips and how good they are. They really do not sound appealing or look that appetizing, but I thought I would try to make some. Turns out they are really delicious and now I cant stop making them! Here is my tweaked recipe:

  • Wash your bunch of kale and tear into bit size pieces.
  • Combine the kale and olive oil into a bowl and mix. For a cookie sheet full, I used about a teaspoon of olive oil.
  • Spread the kale evenly on a cookie sheet and grind some sea salt on top. I like salt so I add quit a bit.
  • Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. I put the sheet into the oven as soon as I turn the oven on and cook for 15 minutes. Ovens do vary in temperature and preheating times, so they may need to cook a little longer if the chips still look soggy. They should be crispy like a chip.

I normally eat them right off the cookie sheet, they never really make it to a plate or bowl. Enjoy!
