Hand Print Flower Pot for Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is only one day away! I made this cute flower arrangement with my kids hand prints and things I had around the house. Very simple and inexpensive.

What you will need:

  • Can
  • Scrap booking paper
  • Colored paper
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Hot glue
  • Rafia or crinkle paper
  • Green ribbon

Trace and cut out child’s hand prints. I put a couple of both of my kids in the arrangement. Fold the pipe cleaners in half and hot glue to the back of each hand. Tie a piece of ribbon around the pipe cleaner for leaves. For the pot I used a can and covered it with scrap booking paper. Fill the can with either rafia or crinkle paper, whatever you have on hand. Then stick the pipe cleaners in the can and your arrangement is complete. To make it more personal you can have the child color the hand prints or write special messages for their mama.
