Our Father’s Day Gifts

I think handmade gifts are one of the most unique and special gifts. Recently we have been trying more and more to give handmade gifts. For this Father’s Day I found a cute and simple idea for my husband. I love using hand prints whenever I can they are just so cute. For his Father’s day gift I simply took some black paint to the boys hands and pressed them onto brown paper. Before doing the hand prints I printed the saying “Happy Father’s Day to the Best Papa… Hands Down.”  I saw this idea and thought it was just the cutest! I then put the paper in a frame. It was a great hit with my husband as well,he loved it.

For my father I made these candy jars with cute saying on them.

I filled this jar with peanut M&Ms. You can use any type of jar I am just a little obsessed with mason jars right now. I seem to have a plenty of them leftover from canning projects.

For this jar I placed mini Reese Peanut butter cups. The saying attached would be more appropriate if you filled it with Reeses pieces, but I know my dad really likes the peanut cups. For the lid I printed DAD onto paper, cut it out, and hot glued to the top of the jar.

The card and tags were both made on my Cricut Expressions machine.

I hope you all had a great time celebrating Father’s Day!
