Fall Gift Basket Made From Paper on the Cricut Machine

Fall is here and always brings out my crafty side. I recently discovered a new site for the Cricut machine @ http://www.svgcuts.com/. This site is seriously awesome and so easy to use. They also have free svg files I believe every week. The packages can be bought for about $6.99, which I think is totally worth it. My latest creation is this Fall basket. I have made several of these for gifts and really just love the way they look.

Once the files are downloaded select your paper for each piece and start cutting on the Cricut machine. There are quite a few pieces to this project, but it is fairly simple to put together. On the svgcuts website there are videos on how to put the projects together. This is awesome and makes it so easy to do.

For a lot of the pieces I added embellishments such as buttons, brads, and ribbon. These embellishments really add a lot, making a finished looking product.

I filled my baskets with pumpkin cupcakes and peanut butter brownies. The basket was lined with a single piece of tissue paper due to the fact the inside of the basket is just white paper. This hides the paper. Colored tissue paper would probably look even better than white.

Happy fall, enjoy the weather, colored leaves, and being with family.
